Strain Gauges

GLÖTZL strain gauges are based on the vibrating wire principle. With extensive expertise and through demanding processes, our gauges are developed and manufactured to achieve the highest levels of precision and durability. Depending on the application, you can choose between the DAB vibrating wire gauge for use in concrete structures
or the DSC vibrating wire gauge for steel structures. In both cases, highly precise measurements of compression and tension can be captured. A special product solution is our GWD 20, which has been specifically developed for use with geogrids.

Type DBA

Vibrating Wire Strain Gauge –
Embedment Strain Gauge

The vibrating wire strain gauge type DSC for arc welding to steel structures is commonly used for monitoring compression and/
or tension in struts (excavation bracing), in structural members of buildings and bridges, girder constructions, sheet pile walls,
tunnel linings and other steel structures.

Type DSC

Vibrating Wire Strain Gauge for Steel –
arc Weldable Strain Gauge

The vibrating wire strain gauge type DSC for arc welding to steel structures is commonly used for monitoring compression and/or tension in struts (excavation bracing), in structural members of buildings and bridges, girder constructions, sheet pile walls, tunnel linings and other steel structures.

Type GWD 20 G

Electrical Displacement Transducers for Strain Measurement at the Geotextile Grid

The displacement transducer is used for measuring strain on geogrids. The GWD 20 series are designed for installation in boreholes or other inaccessible areas of application.

Type GFD

Fissurometer

The precision transducer GFD is used to measure minor deformations with a high degree of accuracy. Typical applications are the monitoring of joints, cracks or fissures on buildings and structural elements.
