GLÖTZL strain gauges are based on the vibrating wire principle. With extensive expertise and through demanding processes, our gauges are developed and manufactured to achieve the highest levels of precision and durability. Depending on the application, you can choose between the DAB vibrating wire gauge for use in concrete structures

or the DSC vibrating wire gauge for steel structures. In both cases, highly precise measurements of compression and tension can be captured. A special product solution is our GWD 20, which has been specifically developed for use with geogrids.

The displacement transducer is used for measuring strain on geogrids. The GWD 20 series are designed for installation in boreholes or other inaccessible areas of application.

Potentiometric Concrete Strain Gauge

The potentiometric concrete strain gauge (PBA) measures large strains of up to 10 mm and therefore offers a significantly greater measuring range than vibrating wire strain gauges. Its precision stainless steel housing and the specially sealed cable outlet ensure a high level of pressure tightness.

Precision Fissurometer
