BRUNSBÜTTEL LOCK
The construction of the fifth lock chamber is the prerequisite for the major refurbishment of the over 100-year-old lock in Brunsbüttel. It ensures the smooth shipping traffic on the Kiel Canal during the renovation phase.

Special Features: Construction of the fifth lock chamber with a length of 360 meters and a width of 45 meters
GLÖTZL Measurement Technology: MCC 5.0 measurement system, hose scale systems GHD 3 and building inclinometer GN 10, as well as two plumb line measurement systems VLS2. Additionally, in the ground storage Dyhrrsenmoor, pneumatic pore water pressure sensors and settlement sensors.
