Project: PRAEDIUM Frankfurt/Main, Germany 

Start of construction: 2014 Customer: FRANKI Grundbau GmbH & Co. KG, Excavation pits & pile foundations 

Characteristics: 60-meter high residential tower ensemble PRAEDIUM located directly at the 60 ha EUROPAgarten.
Glötzl Sensors: Load Cells for pile top type KLP, contact pressure sensors, piezometers type PP3 SS as well as an internet-accessible data acquisition system type MCC with GLA-Software to record and report significant changes in condition or behavior. 

Project details: The PRAEDIUM is an ensemble of buildings in the Europaviertel Frankfurt/Main, it consists of an eight-storey building with 83 apartments and a 19-storey residential tower with 159 apartments, a total of 242 condominiums. The focus in this project was the geotechnical monitoring for controlling the deformation of the pit lining and the structural behavior of the foundation (combined pile and raft foundation).
